Enter the #savetheceiling contest to win this iconic heritage scene

To launch our ceiling restoration campaign, we're giving away this framed Rob Roy canvas to one of our contributors.

Win Heritage Art

We love our built heritage. Saint John and New Brunswick are renowned for their heritage architecture. That’s why we’re committed to preserving and restoring it.

We love pictures of our built heritage, too.  So when we saw photographer Ron Roy’s interpretation of heritage properties on Saint John’s Princess and Water and Prince William Streets, a eureka moment struck!

We thought: “What a brilliant way to spread the word about our #SaveTheCeiling campaign for the Cathedral Restoration Project!”  Our friend, Mario Brideau, owner of Mario’s Picture Framing and Citadel Gallery donated this impressive Rob Roy picture. And we’re giving it to one of our supporters.

here's how You could win this Framed Rob Roy 30" x 40" photograph and help #SaveTheCeiling

Rob Roy's photos of Saint John are legendary. His photography books about Saint John can be found in just about every bookstore in the province.

Rob has taken one of his iconic images of Princess Street and Prince William Street and given it a pop art treatment. The result? It's a modern take on our incredible history. We think you'll love it as much as we do.

The artwork measures 30" x 40" and is stretched and framed with a sleek black floating frame. Value: $400

Two ways to win

We want to give you as many chances as possible to be entered to win:

  1. Go to our #SaveTheCeiling page and make a donation! You'll help restore a national treasure and one of Saint John's most important heritage buildings. For every $10 donated, you'll receive one entry.
  2. Visit the Cathedral Heritage Foundation Facebook page and tell us about your favorite heritage building or historic site in New Brunswick. (It doesn't have to be the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception!) Be sure to "Like" our page so you can be notified when we draw the winner.
If you do both, you increase your chances of winning. Mark your calendars: the drawing will take place at 5:00 pm Atlantic Time on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
